The Coquitlam Prostate Cancer Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
Our meetings generally feature a guest speaker who addresses some of the problems we face
when presented with prostate cancer.

Our members are supporters of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of BC and take an active part
in the annual Fathers Day Walk/Run. Many of our members recently participated in the Movember
program to raise awareness and funds in the fight against prostate cancer.

We invite everyone with concerns about any aspects dealing with the prostate to join us in our
monthly meetings including partners and caregivers.  For example, our next meeting will be on
January 3 and will feature Ms. Shannon Griffin, an RN from VGH, speaking on male sexual health.
